OK here comes a plea for help and information. I LOVE my MR2, but ca't afford the repairs and have to do what I can myself. Any help is appreciated! Here goes... The car is a 1988 Toyota MR2 N/A with the original Air Intake, a K&N filter, MSD Blaster coil and Ignition. This car is in Maryland, USA, so I'll describe the weather conditions as well. End of February, 32 Deg. 2AM- Parked car with full tank of gas Next day, 50 Deg., Noon- Car won't start, battery dies trying One week later, 32 Deg, 10AM- try to jump start and use Starter fluid, but car doesn't start. 3Weeks later, 50 Deg., 5PM- Change Battery, install used igniter from an 89 N/A car still won't start. The crank turns, but engine won't turnover on it's own. After 3-5 minutes of trying to start, still nothing and smell of gasoline Planning on replacing plugs with NGK V-Power, New OEM Distributer Cap and Roter, NGK Plug-Wire set. Any ideas if this doesn't work? Thanks! Antonio...
