hi everyone
i would really appreciate any help that anyone has to offer!
first off i have a 91 celica gt with a manual trans
my first problem is my heat has been acting up!
when i have the fan on low the heat is a little warm but when i turn it all the way up it blows cold
i flushed the radiator and the heater core today and put new coolant in and when i first started it up and burped the system the heat was still cold. i then turned it off and was working on other stuff at work. i came back to it about 10 min later and started it up agian and finished topping the coolant off and when i backed the car out the shop the heat was pretty warm. i let it run for about 45 minutes and it was still warm. when i left work about an hour later the heat was ok and then when i got home it was kinda weak. i dont know what it could be! any help would be awesome.
second, i was wondering if a manual trans from an 89 celica(model is unknown) would fit in my 91.
lastly, i was wondering if anyone knew a good place to go for aftermarket parts for this generation celica. i need new struts in the rear but every parts store i go to is a little out of my price range and all they offer is the shock part of the strut, i would still need to get springs. i dont really want to put the stock springs back on because of the age. i need an intake as well because my intake tube is shot. i would also like the euro style taillights if possible.
if anyone has any suggestions or help i would greatly appreciate it!
driving around chicago in the winter with no heat is not fun!!
thanks!!
