i have a 91 toyota pick 3.0 that is skipping. I quit driving the truck 2 years ago due to high gas prices and the truck only gets 10mpg. over the past 2 years i would crank the truck at least one every week or two. when i stopped driving the truck the front seal was leaking so 3 weeks ago i decided to fix it and start driving it again. i replaced the front seal, water pump, timing belt, thermostat, and all timing pulleys. when i cranked it back up it had a slight skip in it like it always has. so i replaced the plugs to see if that would fix it. after changing the plugs it still had a slight skip. i drove it about 40 miles that day with the slight skip. that night when i got back in it it was worse. it shakes the whole truck. i have replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor button, checked the timing, fuel filter. nothing seems to fix it. all the plugs are firing but plugs 3 and 4 are black and 1,2,5,6 are still white. i did notice yesterday that if you spray carb cleaner in the intake the truck would run perfect until the carb cleaner wore off(about 30 sec.). if anybody hasany advice it would help. i have been fighting with this truck for 3 weeks and i am ready to be done with it. thanks
