Can't seem to pull off 92 starter. I've unbolted the 3 bolts and the top plate, but it still won't come off. Any suggestions?

The bracket has to come out it is a big job with some of those. The motor has to be raised to clear the excaust and bracket .

You would be smart to have a shop do this but if your you want to remove it, the motor mount blots have to come out so you can raise the engine. Then the starer will come out.

Let me guess, Parrot, you've never even looked at a starter mounted on a '92 Previa, let alone removed one. Your response was intended to be a joke, right?

I'm in the process of changing my starter on my 93 Previa van and it was a hassle getting off. It's hard to give any advice since I'm not their to see it. My came off after tapping it with a rubber mallet. I checked to make sure all the bolts were out before I did that. My was jammed in between alot of stuff. It's just a plainn hassle.
