Can it be done? Has anyone done it? Does it require a new gear box, and special mounts? Is it anyharder to mount the 6 speed gear box into? I want to make a 90 turbo into a 90 twin turbo, with a 6 speed.<br><br>The reason for all these questions is, I might buy a 90 turbo, with 130k and I know from my dad's exp with a 87 it will need some work soon. So I figured if I can acheive 325 HP with that old body style and a new TT(I think it is a 3S-GTE) it is a plus. Thanks. Also how easy would it be (and costly) to rebuild the 90 block and turbo so I could push same 325HP and around 325LB of torque? <br><br>If you could do this what would you do?

My 90T a/t needed new bearings at 90K. Cost $1800 to rebuild motor-that's r and r'ing it yourself.<br>Not to mention the turbo which was a rebuild ripp off. Figure the cost of rebuild in purchase. I don't see how you could fit a 2jze in there and make it work. Where would you get that engine.<br>You could save more money and pounce on a mk4 when one became avail like I did. I have seen mk3's in magazines with 2jze engines at the drags. If you have money you can do almost anything. I saw two Johnson v4 outboards stacked on top of each other at a boat race once here in stockton calif years ago.
