Hi all:
I'm new to the forum and desperately needing help, I replaced the clutch, plate & bearing in my mom,s 93 Camry. before starting the symptoms were basic worn clutch (slipping badly at top of pedal) after reassembly the clutch does not disengage/engage until pedal is at the floor and pressing hard, and its still not smooth. I've had the clutch back out to make sure I was given the right parts. Done the slave and master cylinders found a broken guide/sleeve in the clutch pedal assembly.... and I've bled it (and bled it, and bled it...etc) using both pump and gravity methods. (whole 32 oz. bottle) the only thing I have not replaced the accumulator. I've talked to the local Toyota dealer they seem to think its probably just not bled properly yet, they say sometimes they are very hard to bleed.
So does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, very Much, David

Best way to bleed the clutch is to dismount the slave cylinder, leave the hose connected, and hold the cylinder so that the hose fitting is at the top. Then, push the actuator rod all the way in, and slowly let it out. Do this 3 times. Then remount.
