Hi I have a 93 Land Cruiser and Im looking for a high pressure line for the power stearing pump. Im told there was 2 motors a stright six (which I have ) and a v6. The hoses for each are different. Any thoughts about where I might find a good site for one I did come up with carpartswholesale.com but it says the hose they have will work for engine/chassis 1FZFE / FZJ80 I have no idea what that means or how to find out if thats my engine/chassis. Any Help??
Thanks
Kevin

Your vin will tell the dealer all he needs to know about the vehicle. you just need to know which hose you need from the pump to the rack.

Gotcha, I was trying to avoid using the dealer, my mech told me it's a dealer part and it cost $475.00! Think I could just pull it out and have it made somewhere or would the fittings be a problem

We have a guy in town here that repairs all kinds of hoses. We just give him the hose and he puts new rubber pieces and clamps on. Pretty cheap, too. You should look around for someone like that. He also does A/C work, radiators, etc. You could check under those headings or check with an independent shop to see if they know of a hose repair shop.

Good luck!
