Location: bakersfield,ca usa
i idle for a little bit and engine shuts down

if i have air conditioner on high it wont shut down

why is that

There are a couple threads about the idle problem. Let us know what your mechanic says (if no one here does). My car had to be in neutral at times to keep from dying during idle.
