I bought an 95 avalon last year with 86k miles on it.
Last month, I had to change the timing belt.
Today, It again started making some weird sound and at Beck toyota, they said it is the starter motor that needs to be replaced.
Can anyone please tell me if it is normal for a 95 avalon with 92k miles to give such problems and be maintenance expensive? What else (expense) can I expect in near future?

I have seen people with over 200K miles and no complaints about avalon on this site.
I was thinking may be somebody can share their thoughts with me.

Thanks.

Its all in how you treat your car maintenance wise. Reqular oil changes no lead foot etc. you also have to realize that this car is getting old 13 years old you have to expect to have some problems.
