I race a 95 Tercel 1.5L on a local asphalt circle track (1/4 mile) and I'm looking for advice on how to get as much power out of it as possible. The handling is fine but I'm gettin killed on the straightaways. The air box and muffler are already cut off.

The modifications do not have to be street legal so be as creative as you want with suggestions (maybe fooling some sensors?)

Also, does anyone know a cheap/easy way to advance the timing?

I'm willing to listen to any suggestions right now.
