I have a 95 Tercel that has done me well and I'm going to need her for about 4 more years while I finish up college and graduate school. I have some extra money comming my way soon but not enough to buy a new car. I'm thinking that I can put in a new motor, tranny and trans axle for a few grand and have fundamentally a new car that I won't have to worry about for another decade. Anyone know where I can find a new/referb drive line and such. Anything I'm missing?

This is exactly what I am thinking about doing - same car (95 DX) and I'd rather upgrade than replace. I'm researching and will forward any info that I find.
