Hi all:

I am new to the Landcruiser world, and am frustrated that the spark plugs seem to be eluding me. I took the top plates off of what I believe to be the cylinder head, the head that seemed to be housing a straight six arrangement. Once in, I looked only to find that the six wires leading into the head were stubborn rubber plugs that didn't reveal any spark plugs after I pulled them up a ways. I didn't want to tear anything up, so I quit, and thought I would seek advice before going any further. Any ideas?

Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

The plugs are probably down inside the holes where the sparkplug wires come out of. You most likely need a socket with an extension to get the sparkplugs out.
My Ford is similar, you cant even see the sparkplugs.

A 12" extension will help, that's what I needed to change the plugs out on my Taco.
