Hi to all well until this year i had always driven north american cars never again i will drive a Toyota till I die Im a mill wright by trade so I am Mechanically inclined it doesnt make me a car mech though
I have a question if anyone can help I have a 1998 4 runner limited the rear widow motor is pooched i have electrically tested this it went from working to intermitent to dead the window is in the down position now I have a motor coming in would like some info on how to get it out window in down position does not give me enough clearence to remove motor i read a brief bit by PONGO could this individual help me with this

HOpefully Pongo will answer. I hear getting to that little motor is a right pain, but once there it's the gear sprocket more often than not. Also, I know from a friend to hit the salvage yards if you need to replace the motor. Dealers are like highway robbery on the things!
