Hello to everyone over here in the 4 runner section. I just made my first post in the Land Cruiser forum for a problem and I also have a problem with my wifes 4 Runner. So here goes. Engine started making aslight rattle noise recently and I was kind of hoping it would just "go away". It hasn't, and last night she was driving and all of the sudden started leaking coolant slowly out from below. She continued to drive until it overheated and the engine light came on. Replaced the thermostat this morning and sealed up nicely but I am still getting agood bit of leakage from the next section behind that part where you place the termostat.
So while under the hood I had aclose listen for the noise and it sounded like avibration but it sounds like it is right inside the main block.
Any help or suggestions would really be appreciated.

i had a simalar problem not to long ago the rad let go internally tranny cooler section it blew the fluid back intoi the tranny check your tranny fluid i hope for your sake this is not the issue it looked like a strawberry shake exploded in the tranny long story short $2800.00 later the tranny was rebuilt

Hey thanks for the reply. I had alook at the fluid and it looks good so I might have dodged that bullet. I am wondering if it is just something vibrating that I cannot get to.
