Drives: 1998 tercel coupe auto

yesterday while i was at work, someone called me telling me i had left my lights on the car. when i walked out and went to check it, it turned out to be that just the rear brake lights were on. so as i tryed checking the brake peddle and what not they would not go out. does anybody know how to fix this? thanks for any info (IMG:style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif)

Sounds like a broken brake light switch. It would be the first thing I would check.
