OK I've worked on cars for years, but my new GTR-4WS is baffling the heck outta me, in both doors there is a tear shaped button that you can push towards the door apperture and if you let go it springs back, what on earth does it do or supposed to do. i thought it may drop the glass down for easier shutting when you open and close the door but it doesent. TIA Dave.

That would be the seat belt tensioner thing, when you open the door you may here a ZZZIINNNNGGGGGG noise as a spring in the seatbelt mechanism tensions up ready to reel the seat belt in out of the way.
