If you are going to replace the oem gasket with a metal one, great.
But don?t forget to fix the surface on the head and block.
If you don?t you will have a bhg again.

It?s very common at the autoshops in Sweden and I think it's the same elswere.
That when they replace the hg that they only lifts the head enough to take the old gasket out and puts the new one in place.
It's about 15 hrs work to do the job proparly, so they often cheat.
Talked to a guy who had his bhg replaced by a autoshop, they cheated.
Drove his car about 5000 km and had a bhg again.
So it?s worth the job.
Am about to begin rebuliding a new engine.
Will make my hg self.
