Hi everyone, wondering if anyone can help me?
I am thinking of purchasing a 99 Rav4 but I was told there is a problem with it, the owner said that when You go to accelarate on a hill the engine will die out.
Any ideas? Serious problem or nothing much? Should I purchase it or stay away? I feel it is a good deal $1200.00 but not sure what to do!!

That's hard to diagnose from just that info. How many miles are on this vehicle?

I know it could be alot of things but that is all the info I have, There is 183000 on it.
