Hi All,

I'm checkin out a 93 Previa for sale near me. Took it for a drive, runs well with tight steering. strong. Love it! However it's got 230K miles on it, no maintenance records, and it's been driven mainly in the mountains high altitude. I would get it checked by a mechanic, but I'm concerned about the mileage. should i be? Given the mileage what are some likely issues i could anticipate? Many thanks.

Shine on...

I would not worry about the 230k. I retired one with over 500. I got one now with 350k. They do run forever. Transfer cases go about 300k before you have trouble, but only on the all wheel drive. Rear end trouble too about that time, but only on certain models. Other than that, you should not be afraid to get into it and go!
