I am in the process of buying a New 2001 GS430. I was told that wooden steering wheel is no longer offered by Lexus (damn them!)and that rear spolier is an aftermarket type since I did not purchase the Nav. system. Can anyone tell me if the aftermarket spoiler appearance is comparable with the factory one? Does anybody have any picture of the aftermarket spoiler or where I can see one on the net?<br>Thank you for your help. I hope I made a right decision of buying the GS430 instead of a 540i : )

Lexus just started making some of the GS430's with the wood steering wheels again. One other thing to remember, you can order a vehicle to come anyway you want it to and still take delivery within a month to a month and a half. The aftermarket spoiler looks very comparable and you can see the pic of it in the dealership. They have the catalogs to show you the difference. Good luck in your purchase. I took delivery of a 2001 GS 430 in September that has the wood wheel. If you look through the messages there were several others who also got them. They are out there, for sure.
