I bought a 2007 Toyota Corolla last year, moving up in the world after my Nissan was totalled. I love the car but am having a problem that I can't get diagnosed until next week. At least I think it's a problem, can't tell from the owner's manual. The airbag indicator light comes on and stays on, even when no one is in the passenger seat. Don't know if it's supposed to do this, and the tech at the dealership sort of wavered on his answer. Does anyone out there know?

If you are referring to the air bag indicator light located on the dash in front of the passenger, in my 2007 LE, the words "air bag" are always on. When someone sits in the seat, the word "on" comes on and stays on until the passenger vacates the seat. Nate

i have a RAV4 '07, and my airbag light is on when someone sits on the passenger seat, it goes off when it's vacated also... and i thought that's not normal since it's suppose to come off after a few seconds as i've read in the manual. i did not notice this before since nobody usually sits there but began to notice it when someone banged the door when he closed it and it even made a sound. brought my car to the dealer last week and had it checked but i was told that it's a normal occurrence.
