I was listening to the radio yesterday, and they were saying that the all terrain vehicles (4x4 and SUV´s) got a 65% sales boost in Spain last year. But people here, are still not really comfortable with buying cars that are not made in Europe. I think that is mainly the reason I haven´t seen that many Toyotas. I think if they did a campaign, maybe they would be more popular. So far I´ve seen like 3 RAV4s which is my favorite SUV, and it is the size that would be more accepted here. People are really not into big cars, specially in Barcelona where parking is a pain... And I´ve only seen the RAVs in Parking lots. Anybody else in Europe to comment on this? In Berlin and in Germany in general, Toyotas are a lot more popular, even though Germany is home to Mercedes and Audi and Volkswagen.
