I got the black yaris,I am put on the shadow titanium chorme 17" x 7 wheels on ,this is the larger U can go for ,cos the yaris got the ABS ,so it will not affect the dia of the OEMrims size. but U will need to go 4 those lightest forged alloys.cos the R even lighter than the steel rims with hub cap.my 17 inches with tyre inflated is only 12 KG compare to 17 kg on the OEM 15 inches wheel.I did also try on the 18 in" x 7.5 is bit over size cos the 215/35 /18 tyre is little bit stick out of the car ,doesn't look good, but just a try, never do it on U car ,cos its from my 2002 echo.that car got no ABS ,but it slow the car down a lot ,it only looks good.so U can go 4 the 17"X 7 with the 205/45/17 tyre.or if U want wider profile go 4 the 215/javascript:emoticon(':trophy:', 'smid_22')
smilie40/17 ,but it will cost more petrol indeed.

You want about a 35mm offset, they're fairly standard across Toyotas, any aftermarket wheel shop will be able to get you them, they're standard fittings so you won't be paying more for them.   I've 16s, I wouldn't go as far as 17s due to our useless roads but a good set of 16s will really help the handling.   I'll sell you my original 14" alloys ;-)   Jeremy

I have a black yaris and i wear 17" x 7 rims, 205/40/17, and it fits well. White rims with white car would be nice colour match

There are as many cool rim ideas as there are Yarii out there, so your best bet is to look at pics of other people's mods and let that point you in a direction. Size-wise, 16" wheels seem to be the overwhelming favorite, providing a nice balance of comfort and handling-improvement.
I personally have 215/40/17's with +42mm offset and have no problems at all, but I'm not dropped, and I don't have to drive on any really bad roads like some folks in Canada and the NW US seem to. I didn't feel like I lost much ride comfort, and I'm pretty picky about that.

If you are going to drop the car, better to run an offset that is closer to stock and be conservative on wheel/tire sizing so as to avoid rubbing.
BTW - I have a polar white LB with anthracite (grey) rims with a red lip, and love the look. Bronze rims are rare and look very cool w/ white. If you do go white on rims, make sure they match the polar white, or it'll drive you crazy.
