Is there anyway you can prevent your tires from wearing out prematurely? A co-worker said it was some kind of maintenance you can do to prevent tire wear. Does anyone know about that?

Getting the an alignment done, correct tire pressure, keeping tires balanced correctly, fixing other problems associated with the suspension such as tie rods, etc.

slight off-topic to your question, but usin tire cleaner+conditioner to prevent cracking is good too
