Has anyone started winterizing? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frozen.gif) I plan to do it this weekend if it's not too rainy. We ended up getting a cold spell here in Indy, so it kind of put winterization on my mind.

We haven't started yet but it hasn't been too cool yet here in Missouri. My husband is trying to get the garage cleaned out so we can get the car in it though. I sure hope he gets the job done. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

LoL.
What do you guys down there do to winterize ?

Up here, at -40, it's important to run with synthetic oil and ensure your coolant is mixed at 70 - 30 % ratio.

But really what else do you do to winterize ?

LOL in Indiana or Missouri? In Indiana, winterization is a process that involves seasonal checks, stocking the trunk just in case, and basically making sure your fluids are all ready for the winter. We get cold here. Not as cold as you, but we can get below zero. :)

I'm in Alabama. All we do to winterize - hey wait, we don't have winter down here :)

Actually, I do try to have the antifreeze checked, and I keep a blanket in the car. But that's about all for us.

My sweet wife bought me chocolate granola bars for emergencies. I have three left. LOL

I'm in Southern Illinois and if we winterise we do it in late December/early January. And then we pull it out of the winter mode in Late April or Early May, depending on how the winter has gone. This year it wasn't needed at all.

Year before last....uh...YES! It varies widely here.

I am in North Texas, and we get down to maybe 30 above. So we are lucky not to have to worry too much.

I start winterising in mid-summer. Am definitely a winter person and can't wait to get all snug for winter.
