I would be very skeptical about any of these. I have read independent magazine tests and none of them add horsepower. Many reduce horsepower.

Think about it - if Audi could install something similar to this and increase it's fuel mileage ratings to meet EPA requirements - and give us more horsepower - don't you think they would? You know the part only cost about 50 cents to make.

In my opinion, it's money down the drain. Buy a nice set of floor mats to keep your beauty looking its best and increase resale value too.

An excellent "Logical Assumption" there Mr. Chairman.

It doesnt mean that it doesnt work. Auto makers dont think of everything. It would also stand as reason that perhaps they would investigate. Assuming it did work, A US patent would prevent AUDI from making a similar product.

However, I share your opinion for different reasons.

Just my humble opinion.

For my '06, I wouldn't mind a supercharger. I think they have been available on previous versions, but I can't find one for an automatic.

I used a Tornado on my '02 Dodge Durango, I didn't see a real difference although my fuel mileage was probably not as sucky as most Durangos, 14.2 with air, 16.4 without air, 18.8 on the highway. I also had a K&N, that may have helped too. Tornado does not list a unit for an '05/'06 4 litre, I checked. I have seen the units that you are talking about, I'm curious as well, yet would not expect more that I got with the Tornado. Do I think that it saved me the $50 that I paid for it, probably not... Did I save anything with the K&N, probably.....I serviced it a few times in 127K and it improved my mileage a fraction of a MPG. Over 127K, it probably paid for itself.
