1990 4runner lots of miles.Still in very good shape with a low milage motor.I plan on keeping her but would like to up grade the axles but I still want to be able to run the highway at 70 or so.Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks ahead of time Fred

i have a 90 4runner . i have the same gears as you do . you can run up to 33's with that gearing. if you want to go any larger on the tires then you are going to have to put bigger gears in the differential .it isn't the axles in the rear that you need to worry about so much as you do the gearing.
