I'm not sure what the proper term is for the handle above the door, which is supposed to be for assisting you in getting out of the car. (if you need assistance like I do). Well, on most vehicles including mine, it is centered over the door. That's a bad place for it. It needs to be moved forward by a Lot to be of any help to us old folks. My daughter has a Jeep Liberty and the handle on her vehicle is moved forward and is in a perfect location to actually be of help.

I really do like our new Camry overall but there are some things that just aren't quite the way we would like them to be.

Gosh, that would be a problem. I can't think of anyway to move it. Have you asked the dealer if they can make any special modifications?

It is a problem but we haven't asked the dealership about it yet because an awfully lot of car models that we test drove also had the handle in an bad location for use. I guess we need to ask them about the possibility of moving it.
