Let me first say that I do wear my seatbelt anytime I'm on the road; however, several times every day I drive down long driveways and through private parking lots without my seatbelt on. (This is my personal preference so please don't reply with a lecture on seatbelt safety.)

When the car is moving and the driver's seat belt is off, an audible alert sounds 53 times and may sound more than one time through !! I find this VERY annoying and would like to turn the "dinger" off or down or whatever. The dealership will not help. I have a 2006 RAV Limited

Does anyone know how to turn the chime off?? I don't care if it also turns off the alert for keys in ignition, etc.

THANKS....other than this.....loving my new RAV !!!

Sally

There has to be a fuse you can remove to stop this annoying noise. I know just what you are talking about because I have the same problem. My kids think it's funny that I have to put my seatbelt on when I'm driving them across the field to grandpas, or up the drive from the mailbox.

Good luck with your quest.
