i RECENTLY PURCHASED A 90 LAND CRUISER . AFTER THE FIRST SNOW WE TRIED TO USE THE 4WD BUT IT WONT ENGAGE. WE LOCKED IN THE HUBS, PUSHED THE BUTTON ,AND NOTHING ..:(

I had a similar problem on my L/C88. Turned out that the vacuum switch, located on the starboard side of the firewall, had expired. Chances are your L/C uses the same mechanism and this would be the first place to check. Again in my case, I flipped around the vacuum hose connection on the unit and presto, 4wd. Would be worth your while to buy an OEM service manual.
