Is anyone aware of the availability of a "bra" for the front end of the Prius. Mine is getting chipped with several long drives from Sacramento to Los Angeles. Has anyone used the "touch up" paint? Is it available?

call the dealer you purchased from and ask for parts. then tell them you want a front-end 'mask' for a prius...make sure they know you bought the car from them and you'll prolly get a discount.

if this is all to much for you, or you want to look elsewhere, go to the

toyota-prius@yahoogroups.com

and do a search for a front end mask or front end bra...we've had ours on for a couple of months, now-looks cool, too!!

mark

Mark:

I too have a mask for my Prius and find it a pain in the arse to remove each week before I wash the car! I have decided to leave the bottom part off and just use the "top" of the two piece bra. It covers the leading edge of the poorly painted hood area, which is the most susceptibile to rock chips anyway. (The plastic bumper is resiliant enough.)

-Michael
CA "01 Prius"

I too have a mask formy Aqua Prius. I have never removed it since it was installed several months ago. It took the parts gentleman about 20-30 minutes to install. No way do I intend to go through that each time I have the car washed.
Joseph
