Can anyone who owns one of these tell me about them? I want to buy a van but am unsure which one to get. I hear that this may be a great choice.

I've been researching vans myself, and toyota is always a great choice. Good gas milage, and they just run forever. There is the added benefit of having the towing option (which I had not found on any other van).

Toyota has upped the 2006 Sienna's safety content by making the previously optional side-impact and side-curtain airbag package standard equipment. Other changes this year include: a new auxiliary jack for portable audio devices; an upscale Optitron gauge cluster for the LE, XLE, and XLE Limited trims; standard power front seats for the XLE; and a driver's seat memory feature for the XLE Limited. Lastly, the 2006 Toyota Sienna has updated styling thanks a revised front grille, new headlights and freshened taillights.

Advantages of the 2006 Toyota Sienna:
Large and comfortable interior
Powerful V6 engine
Available all-wheel-drive
High level of safety and luxury features

Objections to the 2006 Toyota Sienna:
Can become uncomfortably expensive when options are added

I like this the best.
All the advantages seem impressive. My husband wants a Tacoma, but it just doesn't seem logical for an expanding family.

Isn't it the toyota that has the gauges where the radio should be so that there is nothing behind the steering wheel? That's one of those things I don't think I could ever get beyond.

I don't have a Sienna, but my best friend does. Let me just say that I am van envious.

I love the room it has. I can comfortably sit in the second row, and I am 5'10". You don't find that with many automobiles. I love all of the safety features, and the ease of use with the 3rd row. I love that there is a towing option! You should see my friend towing her boat with her Sienna.

It is a fantastic all around vehicle. It can get pricey, though, once you add all of the options you feel you *must* have. Thus... why I don't have one yet. I want too much!

Does it offer the expanded minivan option so that you can seat more than eight people? I would think that every growing family would need the expanded version because otherwise there is never any room for friends!

Heh we're looking at expanding our family of five, but I was looking at the sienna as well. Our kids are also at the age where friends will want to go along witht hem, so a people hauler seems the logical step.
