i just bought my 2000 4x4 regular cab green tacoma and love it, but have already put dents in my tailgate. I warn you all, do not set anything heavy on your tailgate because there is a brace bar that runs straight through the center of the tailgate which will poke out the body side and will make a serious dent and will seriously piss you off. What i did was set these 6 big logs that took two people to pick up to load in my truck bed and the poor tailgate just could not support it and it cost me $319 to have it fixed, so becarefull and don't be stupid.
