Hi Can anyone tell me what the best oil to use is? I was advised not to use Castrol GTX. Any help would be appreciated. Martin

Why? The only oil I wouldn't use is mobil 1 0 w whatever. I think my engine's too many miles on it to appreciate something so thin. I personally like semi synth in a 15 w 40 blend. Tenner from my local motor factors, Vauxhall badged and has all the SAE stuff on the back that tells me it's of sufficient quality.
