hi im looking to get into the toyota world, in the past ive owned all german cars and im just fed up with the poor reliability. right now im looking at a 1999 silver land cruiser with 156k for $8000 and a 2000 4runner silver sport with 125K for $7500. right i just want to get some info on the land cruiser. i was curious as what i should look at/for "under the hood" to make sure its a good vehicle. also is this a good price? everyone tells me these things go for ever, but 156K still scares me, especially after being a benz owner :). finally what is some of the typical maintanence that is needed as these vehicles get older?
thanks for all your help!!!

SO I GUESS I CANT SPELL, it was supposed to be titled big decisions. anyways, i attached a pic of the land cruiser. sorry the pic isnt the greatest. the only thing wrong with it, is it has a little rust on the rear tail gate. other than that it is a first owner highly maintaned SUV.

Toyotas are the most relaible cars. I used to have Rav4. No major maintenance, no problems and it let me survive anaccident I had a year ago. The prices of used toyota cars vary so its hard to tell if the price is ok. You must consider the condition of the car. I'm now obsessed with the idea of buying toyota urban cruiser. Hava a look at that Toyota Urban Criuser review. I'm sure it's gonna be a great choice.
