When you're blanking the EGR, do you blank the end of pipe closer or further from the actual valve? My intuition tells me that the blank should go at the end furthest from the valve (i.e. next to atf dip-stick and closer to front of vehicle). Can anybody confirm, or set me straight.

I know the benefits of doing this are scattered through this forum, and are discussed widely on internet, but I was unable to find any good descriptions or pictures regarding this procedure for the 3L. Any explanation or tips would be appreciated.

Thanks --PBS

Hey there,

Check this out. Mine was done right by the valve. Seems to me at the dump pipe and at the manifold would be better. Harder though.
