Hi all, new member here and new Toyota Tundra owner. I have been a Camry owner for 14 years now and am sold on it. So, have decided to sell my 1993 Ford F-150 and buy this 2003 Tundra(4.7 V8).

Anyways, I am needing to buy a block heater for it as I live in Alberta, Canada. I bought it out of Vancouver and, well, they have no need for one there. I am from the northwestern coast of BC and we certainly didn't need one there.

I have checked out Toyota and they want over $200 for a block heater(go figure). I have checked NAPA and can get one for $43. Is this an issue. I wouldn't think so. Any input from others would be great. Anyone else have block heaters and where did you get them?
