Seems like you can't call anybody nowadays without having to go through an automated menu before getting to a live person. I have the bluetooth system set up w/ my phone in my new Rav4 (2008, 4wd, 4cyl, Limited) and can make and receive calls fine, but, does anybody know how, or even if it's possible, to "press one to continue in english"... or whatever the case may be? Once your call is answered, you often have to press more digits to get to whomever you want to talk to. Is this possible with this system? It's not addressed in the owners manual.

That question is relatively easy, as all you have to do is push the number 1 on your had held cellular phone keypad to continue in english. The factory BlueTooth setup does not give you any additional features, except by pushing presets 1 to 6 for Speed Dialing only. Hope this helps, as I have BlueTooth installed in MY09XRS.

Thanks for replying, but, not really. The point of the question was how to do it hands free, through the bluetooth system. I already knew to use my cell phone's key pad. But thanks again.

Love the Rav, by the way. Less than 300 miles on it, but, it's great!
