Does anyone feel their braking is delayed or slips under hard pressure? I don't know, but I feel like it is slipping when I brake hard. I am thinking of upgrading the pads to TRD brake pads. Also, has anyone upgraded the discs, calipers, and/or brake lines? I'd like to improve my braking, but TRD just offers the improved pads. Does anyone have suggestions on a larger disc/caliper (possibly cross drilled or slotted) and/or DOT steel braided brake lines? I feel that you can't compromise when it comes to stopping distance. Tires and brakes are the most important. And the tires I have (TOYO Open Country A/T) are amazing, especially in the rain and snow. I highly recommend them (they're one size wider than stock). - Freddy Fingaz '00 4Runner SR5 4WD Sport Edition 5 Speed Manual Transmission Toyo Open Country A/T TRD Supercharger TRD Cat-Back Exhaust TRD Air Intake

I don?t know of any specific kits. But I would try the pads. Usually upgraded pads make a huge difference. Sean Rauch 85 Supra - Sold 86 4Runner K & N 3in. lift in the back. (now that its level...) Doing cancer surgery as priority #1 Winnipeg, Canada

These guys get more business out of this group than anybody. Try wwww.performanceproducts.com I know they have an upgrade rotor for my 98 aand have some pads to match. I agree about the tires, I have a set on mine and love them for the versatility on and off road. Cione 98 Limited Does anyone feel their braking is delayed or slips under hard > pressure?
