Hi………. :( got a little minor accident while driving back I hit a stone pillar behind……. the back bumper of my MR2 is damaged it is bent and a little piece is broken. I don’t want to buy a new one. What is the solution is it possible to rebuild the damaged bumper?

Sorry to hear that. Accidents happen. Unfourtenatly if a piece is broken off it will brobably have to be replaced. if the plastic (urethane) is dented it can usualy be repaired. I would just go ahead and Live with the damage or find a good replacement @ a wrecking yard; good used parts @ a fraction of the $$$. maybee you will be lucky and can find one in the wrecking yard that matches your factory color.

yup mikeysentra is rigth junkyards are the s@#t so if a piece broke off ur going to have to go junkyard hunting have fun and good luck.

I got into a little fender bender once and thought that only the bumper was damaged, but I took it to a shop and there was all sorts of damage elsewhere too. You may want to have it checked out.

you can take it off hammer out the dent from the inside and get it repainted.

hammering it out is an option that I had done to my car. You can also check different junk yards and see if there is a bumper you can buy. I have had great success with junk yards.
