I'm thinking of buying an early 1990's Jap import series 80 Landcruiser, the turbo diesel. What sort of problems should I look out for? I've never owned a turbo car before but heard turbos are very expensive if they break. Also have heard lot's of stories about cam belts on diesels. I would welcome some comments. I had a petrol series 80 a while back and loved it but it just used too much fuel. I'll be using it for day to day use, towing a dirt bike and only rarely off roading it. Either to get the bike into a muddy paddock at a race or possibly recover it from somewhere. Thanks, Ian.
