Sadly my GTR is going up for sale.... But the good news is I'm sticking with a Celica! But you'll all probably be horrified to hear it's a Gen6 SS2. Have reserved a Silver '94 SS2 which has 30k on the clock and is almost mint. It's already got an Apexi intake/header/exhaust and nice Speedline alloys. My GTR is for sale if anyones interested. I'm not 100% sure on what I should advertise it for, so any help/advice would be great. I've looked through auto trader and theres a fair few GT's of similar age but with more mileage advertised for over ?3k so I was thinking bout putting it up for ?2,800 and letting people make offers. Would really like ?2,500 for it. Do you think thats fair? Spec: 1992 GTR 4-ws Auto. 66,000 miles, 6 months tax/mot Full electrics, air con, abs, etc etc 17" Ace 197 alloys wheels + spare set of Toyota 15" (may sell the wheels seperately if I get an offer, so the 15's may go back on). V. good nick inside and out. Few scratches and some stone chips but nothing unusual for a car of this age. Lots of history from Japanese servicing with dates and km's. Been cared for by an ex Toyota mechanic since I had it. Pic here: http://www.artemis.bm/misc/gtr_front.jpg Please do be honest about what you think bout the price. I know some people say imports are cheaper, but that price is a lot less than trade folk are trying to see UK GT's at (as I said with higher miles and lower spec). And pics of my new beast: http://www.artemis.bm/misc/ss2_front.jpg http://www.artemis.bm/misc/ss2_rear.jpg Picking the new one up next week! Steve.

Don't know on the pricing front, but it looks damn good in the pic. New toy looks sweet does the TRD badge on the back hint at other possible mods ?? If only they'd made them with pop up head lights :o) Hope all goes well ! Chipster

Cheers Chipster! The TRD badge does hint at work done. Got receipts (in Japanese) which I need to get translated to find out exactly what, but they do mention TRD (I think the work was done by them). Had the car thoroughly checked by an ex Toyota mechanic who says it seems quicker than the usual SS2's and he thinks changes must be internal. But he gave it a very clean bill of health which is what matters most to me. Reminds me, I need to have a look at the suspension when I get it as the ride is superb (but I don't think it's been lowered), so maybe thats the TRD bit. Steve.

Cheers Al. The wheels and repeaters are nice. But the grand or so's worth of Apexi stuff and TRD bits and bobs under the bonnet and holding the wheels on is what makes it so nice! Update on my car. Have sold the 17" wheels separately. Car will now be in Autotrader for ?2500.... It's now got standard Toyota 15" alloys with brand new Avon rubber on all corners.
