Hello guys

I am recent to this forum. Actually I am planning to buy a 1998 Avalon XLS with mileage 144000 km. The car is in pretty good shape , should say in keen condition. I am just wondering about its reliability and fuel consumptions and experience you have so far. Your honest suggestions would greatly help me deciding purchasing the car. The cost the owner agreed 7500 Canadian Dollar with 4 extra rim with new winter tires. Here in Canada, very few sales I found of Avalon. so I am not sure whether I am paying excessive price compare to its actual values in terms of cost and reliability.

Please suggest me.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I average over 22 mpg combined city and highway. If you like the car I would say buy it mine 99 has been a pretty good car. Hope this helps. Good luck.
