Has anyone tried to throw one of these newer slide-in pop-up campers on an older 4Runner? Thanks, Mike

No, but that is a good question! I have heard, but I have never seen, that a company used to make travel campers that went over the roof of the cab for 4runners. Now, that would be pretty cool.

I heard the same thing - there are some "Blazer Chalets" out there still that go on the back of the old Blazers - same idea, but I've never actually seen one on a 4runner. Maybe a 4wheel camper... http://www.fourwheelcampers.com/main.htm Steve H
