We just bought a 2008 Highlander (which we LOVE) and are looking to find a compatible high back booster seat with 5 point harness system for our daughter. Anyone have any suggestions? My husband picked one up for the middle row and it doesn't fit. He couldn't get the latch belt tight enough because of the seat.

As far as I know, there are no LATCH points located in the center position, only the outer ones behind the passenger and the driver. I would look at the driver's manual to see if this is correct. If so, you would need to use the middle seatbelt to secure the child seat in.

We want to place it behind the passenger seat in the middle row. The car seat that we picked up the other day would not secure tight to with the latch system. It seems that the car seat latch belt is too far back on it. We are going to see if we can return it tomorrow at TRU. We are looking for people's suggestions that have booster seats that fit tightly.
