van stutters while driving and blows black fluid also smells of fuel outside. also i can here bubbling at the front near the stereo but the van is not overheating.can anyone suggest what to do

Sounds like a blown head gasket.

Where exactly is this black fluid coming out? The exhaust, or somewhere else?

As for the fuel smell, check for leaks, all the way from the tank to the engine, especially around the fuel filter and carby.
