Drives: 1997 4 door Rav 4, manual trans.
Location: Michigan, usa
I have a 1997 4 door Rav 4. It has the slots to mount cargo racks, but I cannot find anything for that year. Can anyone help me out? My intent is to come up with somthing to carry two kayaks

I have the same things on my 98 but I had a THULE rack from a previous car and bought the correct fit kit for a rav4.
Yakima or THULE or any other roof rack maker should fit your vehicle nicely and probably stronger than a TOYOTA rack.
I carry bikes, canoes and lots of other stuff on my rack, I do know both THULE and Yakima have kayak kits.
