Drives: 1996 Toyota Carib Z Touring 2 litre
Location: New Zealand



I have to remove the alternator for repair/replacement, and cannot see how the lower harness connection to the Alternator is attached.

I have removed the bottom pan cover for access, but can see very little and cannot locate the nature of the attachment. Top attachment (small nut) is fine, but the bottom one has got me beat!

Can anyone give advice on disconnecting it with beaking old, heat hardened fitting?
