Hi all!

I am the PROUD owner of a 1994 Celica T20.

I have encountered a strange problem. My electrical antenna does not seem te work as it should. Ok here it comes:
I have a startinterupter. If the startinterupter is not deactivated, offcourse the car won't start. But turning the key to the most right position (normally for ignition), the antenna comes out. But when I release the key (say the car is started) the antenna goes in again. During this the internal clock has no power.. Oke.. i checked all the fuses and all the fuses are ok. Here is the strange part. If I remove one fuse (second from left and bottom row) the internal clock doesn't get any power, BUT my antenna works fine.

So to sum up:
Antenna works fine with internal clock powered off (fuse removal)
Antenna comes up a little bit when starting the engine (internal clock turns off for just that second)
Antenna doesn't work when car is started (clock is then turned on).

Does anybody know what the problem is? It sounds like a wiring issue?? Does anybody know where I can find the schematics of the wiring / fusebox / celica manual??

Thanks in advance!!!

Aki

It's me again;)
I have found the owners manual on the internet. I have noticed that the fuse I am talking about (fuse 6) in the fusebox) is for the clock, antenna and radio. Does anybody know how it comes that when I remove this fuse the antenna works (and with the fuse it doesn't). As far as I know the wiring is in original condition.

thanks again!

sounds like you have your wires crossed somewhere, if the fuse is out and the antenna still has power.
