I have a 1997 toyota camry 4 cylinder that has a bad charcoal cannister. I know its a worthless part aside from emissions, but since passing emissions is important, can someone help me come up with other options to fix it than paying the $272 at the dealer for the new part? Anyone had luck at a salvage yard? Can anyone direct me to a picture so that I actually know what it looks like and where in the engine it is so I could actually go to a salvage yard if that's a good idea. Any help would be appreciated. Just want to save some money! Thanks!
